World’s richest people: Elon Musk is number 1 again!

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, became the richest person in the world in early 2025. According to Forbes’ latest billionaire rankings, his net worth is 421.2 billion USD. After December 2024, his wealth increased by 91 billion USD, which happened due to SpaceX’s valuation reaching 350 billion USD. SpaceX has now become the world’s most valuable private company. Musk also has stakes in Tesla, X (formerly Twitter), xAI, and The Boring Company.

After Musk, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is in second spot, whose wealth is 233.5 billion USD. Oracle’s Larry Ellison, who was in second position till December, has now come to third spot, his net worth is now 209.7 billion USD. A new entry in this ranking is Nvidia’s Jensen Huang, who is now included in the top 10 due to Nvidia’s success in AI and chips industry.
