Mahindra Thar.e

Mahindra Thar is quite popular for its rugged and lifestyle SUV, and now an electric version of it is likely to come in the future. The brand unveiled the Thar.e Concept at the FutureScape event on 15 August 2023. But this electric SUV did not make its public debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.

Highlights:

Design: The Thar.e has a rugged and boxy design like the classic Thar, but with a futuristic EV touch. The high bonnet and rectangular bumper give it a dominating and off-road ready look.

Platform: It is based on Mahindra’s INGLO electric skateboard platform, which is the base of advanced EV architecture.

Person: A combo of adventure and ruggedness, the Thar.e has come up as an EV that is both modern and powerful.

A lot of new and futuristic models were showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, but much-awaited concepts like the Thar.e and the Global Pik Up were missed. Now it remains to be seen when and how Mahindra makes the public debut of these vehicles.
