A big scientific revelation about the Indian Tectonic Plate
The tall peaks of the Himalayas have always fascinated terrestrial scientists. But beneath these sky-touching peaks, a strange movement is going on inside the land. Here the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates are slowly colliding.
The Himalayas were born because of this collision that started 6 crore years ago. Now in recent research scientists have found that the Indian plate is cracking. Meaning, in the future the land of India can be split into two pieces.
A similar process happened with Africa, when it separated from Asia and the Indian subcontinent became attached to Asia.
