Norway: Public Response and Market Trends

The report by the Norwegian Road Federation (OFV) highlights that 1,14,400 out of 1,28,691 cars sold in 2024 were EVs, showing a 1.4% growth compared to 2023.

Tesla dominated the market with an 18.9% share, followed by Volkswagen, Toyota, Volvo, and BMW.

Chinese EV brands like BYD, MG, Polestar, and Xpeng have also gained significant traction, marking their entry into Norway’s top 15 brands.
