Sarla Aviation launched its first electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) air taxi “Shunya” during Bharat Mobility Global Expo in Auto Expo 2025. It presents a revolutionary solution for urban traffic.

Shunya’s Main Features

Speed:

This air taxi can take off at a speed of 250 km/hour.

Payload Capacity: It can seat 6 passengers and 1 pilot. It can lift a weight of up to 680 kg.

Distance:

It is best for short distances of 20-30 km, in which people can reach crowded areas quickly.

Fare:

Initially its fare will be equal to premium taxi services, but in future there is a plan to make it as affordable as auto-rickshaw fares.
