KAIST scientists discovered a new way to remove cancer

Korea’s KAIST scientists, led by Professor Kwang-Hyun Cho, have developed a revolutionary technique that helps colon cancer cells look like normal cells. This approach has the potential to transform cancer treatment and could offer a new hope for millions.

A lot of progress has been made in cancer treatment so far, but most treatments focus on destroying cancer cells. As a result, healthy cells also get damaged, and patients have to face severe side effects. At the same time, there is also a risk of cancer returning. But imagine what if instead of destroying cancer cells, they were transformed into normal cells, without any harm?

Till now traditional cancer treatments like chemotherapy and radiation have been aimed at destroying cancer cells. But their main drawback is that they also harm healthy cells, causing side effects like fatigue, hair loss and nausea. Another issue is that cancer cells develop resistance, which makes the treatment ineffective. Because of all this, there was a need for an innovative and safe therapy.
