Hero MotoCorp is preparing to target a new segment in the Indian market with its new maxi-scooter, the Hero Xoom 160. This scooter, which is going to be unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, has already created a buzz. This scooter from Hero will directly challenge the Yamaha Aerox 155, which is currently the only maxi-scooter in India.

Design and features that make Hero Xoom 160 special

The design of the Hero Xoom 160 is quite aggressive and sporty. Spy images reveal that it gets dual LED headlamps with LED DRLs, a massive windscreen, and dual-purpose tyres. Its upswept exhaust and stylish grab rails give it an even more premium look.

Modern features like keyless start/stop and digital instrument cluster have also been provided, which includes Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The underseat storage space is enough to comfortably fit a full-size helmet and small belongings.

Practical touches like halogen turn indicators and separate button for seat unlock make it even more functional. Overall, the combo of design and features can attract the young generation a lot.
