Blinkit’s 10-Minute Ambulance Service: A New Initiative

Blinkit has set an example by launching its 10-minute ambulance service in Gurugram. It started as a pilot project, in which users can avail emergency ambulance services through the Blinkit app. This initiative not only addresses a need but also presents a new model of integration of healthcare and technology.

Service Features

1. Fast Ambulance Access: Through an option on the Blinkit app, users can call an ambulance within 10 minutes. Currently, this service is available only in some specific areas of Gurugram.

2. Fully Equipped Ambulances:

Oxygen cylinder and AED (automated external defibrillator)

Stretcher, wheelchair, and scoop stretcher

Monitor, suction machine, and emergency medicines

3. Trained Professionals: Every ambulance will have a paramedic, a duty assistant and a trained driver who will handle emergency situations efficiently.

4. Future Expansion Plans: Blinkit says that this service will be launched in more areas in the future.
