Yunus clearly told Pakistan that it is important to solve the issues of 1971 “once and for all” so that both countries can move forward. He said that these issues keep coming up again and again and now the time has come to resolve them. Sharif referred to the 1974 tripartite agreement and said that many things were settled at that time but if there are any other unresolved issues, he is ready to look into them.
