PM Narendra Modi expressed his grief over the dastardly terrorist attack that took place during the New Year celebration in New Orleans. He called it a “cowardly terrorist attack”. PM Modi said on Twitter, “We strongly condemn this cowardly terrorist attack that took place in New Orleans. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. May God give them strength and patience in this difficult time.”

A U.S. soldier was killed in this attack. An army veteran used a truck to kill 15 people who were celebrating the first day of the year. This incident once again shows that we need to fight together against terrorism and violence for our humanity.
